TRX

Invented by Randy Hetrick in 2001 while he was a Navy Seal commando, the TRX is a suspension training tool designed to develop strength and muscular endurance.

The original idea was to use parachute straps to train muscles anywhere without too much equipment. This is how TRX (Total Resistance eXercise) was born. TRX quickly became the leading brand of what is more commonly known as suspension straps.

Objectives of the activity

  • Develop muscular strength and endurance

  • Work all the muscles of the body

TRX has a wide range of exercises and is, therefore, suitable for a wide range of people: from top sportsmen and women to those who love new sensations, it is suitable for everyone. Your session will be adapted according to your physical condition.

What is the point of TRX?

TRX allows you to work with your body weight and gravity. These movements and exercises that use the hands or feet suspend the body from a single anchored point while the opposite end of the body is in contact with the ground. This single-point attachment and suspension provide the ideal blend of support and mobility to develop strength, endurance, balance, coordination, power, and joint stability.

In addition to offering a range of intense movements targeting the deep abdominal muscles, the TRX allows you to work all parts of the body with unlimited exercises in a minimum of time and space.

Who is the TRX for?

In recent years, TRX training has become a very important part of the physical preparation of professional athletes. Football, tennis, swimming, horse riding, golf, UFC fighters... TRX is everywhere. However, this does not mean that it is only for professional athletes. What has made it so successful among trainers and great sportsmen of this world is its VERSATILITY.

In fact, TRX (unlike certain bodybuilding practices) allows functional work. Thus, rather than working the muscles in isolation, a group of muscle groups are called upon during movements comparable to those carried out in everyday life or during our sports activities.

The TRX allows for easy ADAPTATION. All exercises can be modified for all levels. All you have to do during the exercise is to change the angle of work by moving the anchor point on the ground (usually the feet or hands) or to change the length of the straps to make the exercise easier or more complex.
